(Kingston, ON) – The Honourable Peter Milliken, Member of Parliament for Kingston and the Islands, congratulates Queen’s University of Kingston, for receiving $614,584 in research funding.  The announcement of INE research grant recipients was made today by the Secretary of State Maurizio Bevilacqua (Science, Research and Development) on behalf of Allan Rock, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).

“This Initiative on the New Economy research grant will strengthen our understanding of the impact of technology and shifting global issues while, at the same time, help Canadians to continue to benefit from these changes”, said Mr. Milliken.
