Autumn 2008

Dear Friends,

I am delighted to have this opportunity to thank the voters of Kingston and the Islands for returning me to the House of Commons as their representative to the 40th Parliament of Canada.  I appreciate the trust you have put in me to represent our constituency.  I look forward to participating in discussions with my colleagues as  solutions are sought to the many challenging issues Canada faces today.

In this issue of the Milliken Report, you will find useful information on a variety of topics such as the ecoENERGY Program and how you might be able to benefit from it.  Details are on page 2.  Travellers are invited to read the Report’s section on Canadian Passports and Permanent Resident Cards.  The Report also provides details about the new permanent Canadian stamp and the “National Do-Not-Call” program.  I hope that you will find the Report informative.

As we approach 2009, I wish everyone a healthy and happy Holiday Season and a rewarding New Year.

                                                                 Yours truly,

                                                             Peter Milliken, M.P.

                                                             Kingston and the Islands
